Awakening to teach the truth
A friend of mine said in a conversation we were having about yoga in general, that it is like the blind leading the blind. All the people in the conversation were yoga teachers. I asked him what he meant and he said: “Well, everyone thinks because they did a 200-hour yoga teacher training that it makes them a yoga teacher, but the truth is, the vast majority of teachers have no idea what yoga is and know nothing about the ancient wisdom and traditions. They are Asana teachers, not yoga teachers.”
Most yoga teachers in fact think that Asana is yoga … or is Asana a preparation for yoga?? I find the absolute twist and distortion that the west and western teachers have put on yoga a total ideology of nonsense which for the most part has nothing to do with the ancient wisdom, beliefs and traditions of yoga. They don’t see yoga as a technology to bring balance/ease into the mind, body and soul with union of the truth and the absolute oneness of all.
